No. The final solution usually isn't obvious at first, so we often start with what you're trying to solve. In a design sprint the idea gets shaped and tested with a prototype before a line of code is written.

The three of us. We don't use subcontractors or outsource our work, so your product is built by the same people you plan it with. Nothing gets lost in hand-offs, and you always know who's writing your code.

Yes. We also do UI/UX design on its own, or development from an existing design. We get the best results when we're involved from the start, though: when the same people design and code, the designs are buildable and the build matches the design.

The prices listed for our services are examples. Every project is different. We bill for actual hours worked, in 15-minute increments, and send a timesheet with every invoice. Knowing your budget lets us plan and prioritise what to build: the same problem has a very different solution at €10,000 than at €100,000.

Mostly we build web apps, which can be wrapped as a mobile app and published in the app stores when needed. Every interface we build is always responsive: it adapts to the screen size, so your product works just as smoothly on a phone, a tablet or a desktop. One product for every device also means less to maintain.

We mostly build with Ruby on Rails, which we have long experience with. It's a mature, stable choice for products that are meant to last. For interfaces we use React and other modern tools where the product calls for it.

We use AI agents to speed up development, but we don't compromise on creativity. We never use AI-generated images, and every image on this site is either licensed or edited by us.

Yes, as long as it's also being developed further. We still maintain and develop services that are over ten years old, and how we approach it depends on the technologies chosen and the quality of the code. As a rule, we don't take on apps built by others for maintenance only: our speciality is building new products and features.

You do. All the design and code we produce is handed over to you, intellectual property rights included. We build on open-source technologies such as Ruby on Rails. No single party owns them; they're used under open licences (e.g. MIT) that allow free commercial use without licence fees. So your product isn't locked to us.
